Global Outlook
GLOBAL OUTLOOK
At Queen’s College, we believe that true education transcends the boundaries of classrooms and textbooks. Our global learning programmes are designed to cultivate curiosity, broaden perspectives, and prepare students to thrive in a rapidly evolving world. Through enriching initiatives such as the AFS Intercultural Exchange Programme, Model United Nations (MUN), British Council collaborations, and internship opportunities, we nurture well-rounded individuals who are informed, empathetic, and globally connected.

Model United Nations (MUN)
Our Model United Nations (MUN) programme empowers students to explore the world of international diplomacy and global problem-solving. By simulating United Nations conferences, students take on the roles of country delegates, research global issues, and engage in high-level debates. This experience hones critical thinking, collaboration, public speaking, and negotiation skills, while encouraging a deeper understanding of world affairs. Participation in regional, national, and international MUN conferences also helps students gain confidence and broaden their academic exposure.

AFS
Queen’s College has been a proud AFS member school since 2014, offering students transformative opportunities to live and learn in another country, immersing themselves in a different culture, language, and way of life other countries through the AFS Intercultural Exchange Programme. These international exchanges not only promote independence and adaptability, but also deepen students’ empathy and appreciation for diversity. By stepping out of their comfort zones, students return with enriched worldviews, lifelong friendships, and the skills to navigate an increasingly interconnected world. They are trained to represent India and their own school as ambassadors who uphold the banner of our intrinsic values. The students through these experiences move ahead to learn essential global skills needed to live, learn, work, and contribute to society fruitfully.

British Council
The British Council partners with schools across India to promote global learning through projects, workshops, digital platforms, and collaborative initiatives. In partnership with the British Council, Queen’s College engages students in globally benchmarked educational experiences. From intercultural projects and language enrichment to collaborative learning with international partner schools, these initiatives build communication skills and global awareness. Queen’s College, Indore is proud to have received the prestigious International School Award (ISA) 2019–2020 from the British Council, UK, in recognition of our commitment to integrating global themes into the curriculum and fostering international collaborations during the 2018–19 session. Through the International Dimension in Schools (IDS) initiative, our students connected with partner schools across the world, gaining valuable insights into global issues and diverse cultures. These experiences enriched our entire school community—broadening perspectives, enhancing intercultural understanding, and equipping both students and educators with a truly international outlook.
Internships
Our Internship Programme offers students practical exposure beyond the classroom by placing them in real professional environments aligned with their interests—ranging from NGOs and startups to creative industries and research institutions. Through our collaboration with IIT Madras, students gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge research and innovation. Additionally, many have interned with YouVah, contributing to impactful youth-led initiatives. These internships enable students to apply academic knowledge in real-world contexts, develop essential workplace skills like teamwork and problem-solving, and make informed decisions about their future career paths. At Queen’s College, global learning is not just an option—it’s a commitment. Through these diverse programmes, we ensure that every student is equipped with the knowledge, mindset, and experience to become a compassionate leader and a responsible global citizen.
