The Inter House Dance Competition organised on 11th August 2023 for the students from classes VI to XII showcased the rich cultural heritage of India and highlighted the creativity and talent present within the school community. Participants from each house enthralled the audience with their captivating dance performances, fueled by hard work and dedication. With a time limit of five minutes per performance, the students showcased their talent, coordination, and creativity.
The dance forms chosen by each house reflected the diversity and vibrancy of India’s regional folk traditions. Ahilya showcased the energetic and vibrant Punjabi folk dance, while Devi presented the lively and colorful Mathura Ki Holi – Faag. Ganga, on the other hand, mesmerized the audience with the energetic Gujarati Garba dance form. Lastly, Laxmi showcased their talent through the traditional Gondal dance.
Emerging as the winners of the event were the talented students from Laxmi-I, who demonstrated their exceptional skills and artistry. Ahilya and Devi claimed the second position, showcasing their dedication and synchronized performances. Ganga secured the third position, leaving a lasting impression with their energetic and vibrant dance moves.
The Inter House Dance Competition turned out to be an exhilarating event, encouraging students to explore and celebrate the rich cultural tapestry of India.
