Queens’ College Indore, known for its commitment to promoting patriotism and fostering awareness on important social issues, hosted a grand event, the National Flag Adoption Day and Traffic Awareness Program, on 24TH July, 2023. The objective of this program was to educate students about the significance of the Indian flag and the importance of adhering to traffic rules, with a specific focus on helmet usage and exceptions relating to its enforcement.
Esteemed guests, including DCP Manish Agrawal, Additional DCP Mr. Anil Patidar and Mr. Arvind Tiwari, ACP Traffic, graced the event with their presence. They were joined by the popular “Dancing Cop of India,” Ranjeet Singh, Head Constable who captivated the audience with his spirited performance and invaluable insights.
The program commenced with a warm welcome extended to the distinguished guests, who instantly raised the excitement levels of the students present. DCP Manish Agrawal took the stage to explain the symbolism behind the colors of the Indian flag. He emphasized the significance of wearing helmets while riding two-wheelers for personal safety. Furthermore, exceptions regarding individuals exempted from using helmets were discussed in detail to dispel any misconceptions.

Following this, Mr. Arvind Tiwari, ACP Traffic, addressed the importance of adhering to traffic rules. He stressed the significance of responsible citizenship and the crucial role students can play in ensuring road safety. Students were made aware of the potential consequences of disobeying traffic regulations and were encouraged to become vigilant members of society by actively adhering to traffic rules.
Mr. Ranjeet Singh, popularly known as the “Dancing Cop of India,” graced the stage and shared his personal experiences. He focused on the importance of values in human beings. His energetic performance left the audience captivated and motivated them to become proactive advocates of helmet usage.
To assess the knowledge gained during the program, an interactive quiz was conducted. Students participated enthusiastically, showcasing their understanding of the Indian flag’s colors and traffic rules. The quiz session not only tested their knowledge, but it also served as a platform to address any doubts or queries they had regarding the topics covered.
