World Nature Conservation Day was commemorated on July 28th with a series of exciting events and competitions aimed at educating students about the importance of environmental preservation..
From Class VI to Class XI, students enthusiastically participated in various activities. Class VI students immersed themselves in paper bag making. Class VII showcased their creativity through collage making, utilizing recyclable materials to emphasize the significance of recycling and waste management.
Class VIII students embraced the concept of “Best out of Waste,” transforming discarded items into innovative and useful creations. Class IX students designed impactful posters promoting environmental conservation.
In line with the theme of the 3R model (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), Class X students showcased their creativity by creating models that illustrated practical ways to incorporate sustainable practices into everyday life. Lastly, Class XI focused on tiger conservation, crafting badges and bookmarks to raise awareness about the endangered status of tigers and the importance of protecting their habitats.
Overall, the World Nature Conservation Day celebrations at Queens’ College were a resounding success, delivering a powerful message about the significance of cherishing and preserving our planet for generations to come.
