Student Empowerment

Student Empowerment

Prefectorial Body

At Queens’ College, student leadership is championed through a strong prefectorial body that empowers students to take responsibility, lead initiatives, and act as role models within the school community. This leadership platform helps students build essential skills in communication, decision-making, and teamwork, fostering a sense of accountability and collaboration.

House System

Complementing this leadership framework is our vibrant house system—consisting of Satya, Tapas, Shakti, and Gyan—which nurtures healthy competition, camaraderie, and the embodiment of core values. The houses encourage students to work together, develop team spirit, and take pride in collective achievements. Satya stands for truth, moral clarity, and harmony with values—instilling courage and a commitment to introspection. Tapas symbolizes dedication, inner strength, and the ability to overcome obstacles through perseverance and discipline. Shakti signifies courage and leadership, motivating students to be strong, confident, and proactive contributors to society. Gyan represents the importance of learning and curiosity, encouraging intellectual growth and a lifelong love for knowledge. Together, these houses cultivate character, inspire leadership, and ignite a lifelong journey of learning and purpose.

Clubs at Queens’ College are dynamic, student-driven platforms that nurture curiosity, collaboration, and creativity. Designed to bring together students with shared interests, they foster meaningful friendships and a strong sense of belonging.

A wide range of clubs such as Culture and Heritage Club, Olympiads club, Literacy club, Seva club, MUN club, Environment club etc. offer students opportunities to explore their passions, engage socially, and develop diverse skills—whether in literature, environment, performing arts, or technology.
