A Magical Day at Lotus Shopping Centre: Nursery Learners Explore the World of Electronics!
Date: 11th January 2025
Event: Visit to Lotus Shopping Centre (Electronics Store)
Class: Nursery
The young explorers of Nursery at Queens’ College embarked on an exciting learning adventure to the vibrant Lotus Shopping Centre. The objective behind the visit was to introduce our curious learners to basic electronic devices and their fascinating uses in daily life. As they stepped into the electronics section, their eyes lit up with wonder. The buzzing world of televisions, fans, refrigerators, and washing machines welcomed them. With their tiny hands and big imaginations, the children eagerly explored buttons, watched screens light up, and listened to the hum of various appliances. Every click and beep seemed to spark endless curiosity.
Guided by their teachers, the little ones learned how these everyday gadgets make life easier and more comfortable. The visit turned into a delightful mix of learning and fun, as the children connected the devices to their own experiences at home. Questions flew around as they pointed to gadgets and shared their thoughts:
“This is like our fridge!”
“My uncle has a big TV like this!”
The engaging experience also encouraged social interactions among the children, as they excitedly shared their discoveries with friends. This outing wasn’t just about electronics—it was a day of exploration, teamwork, and the joy of learning outside the classroom. The Nursery learners left Lotus Shopping Centre with hearts full of excitement and a growing sense of curiosity about the world around them.
What a wonderful way to make learning come alive for our little stars!
