Values
Knowledge
We believe in imparting knowledge with wisdom and conceptual understanding. Students and educators alike are exposed to a variety of activities related to real life experiences and continuous learning workshops.
Ownership
A feeling of ownership towards the school and oneself fasters conviction and helps build resilience in students. By giving opportunities for self-directed learning in the classroom as well, children feel more in control of their knowledge and are motivated to think beyond only the expected answers.
Courage
Followed by ownership, courage is promoted for emotional health and mental wellbeing. Students are encouraged to persevere and face their fears effortlessly. They are made to believe that failures are but a steppingstone to success. Children at Queens are always encouraged to accept their strengths and work on their weakness with bravery and determination.
Innovation
Educators and students alike are continuously motivated to think out of the box either in preparing their teaching learning material and in the way students respond. When students are given activities and projects they are stimulated to come up with original ideations that develop their creativity and problem solving skills as it compels them to think beyond predictable norms.
Collaboration
Collaboration in various classroom activities enhances interpersonal skills and contributes to social and emotional development. We have also found that teamwork in assignments and projects help students to synergize and solve complex problems stimulating higher-level thinking, boosting confidence and promoting self-esteem.
Discipline
Staying disciplined helps students not only to follow the school norms for their own safety but also for all those around them. Maintaining discipline while adhering to deadlines helps them to study and submit their assignments by due dates so that they are stress free and learn the importance of time management.Self-discipline is encouraged by giving responsibilities and creating an environment of trust.
