Queens’ College outshone the competition at the Sahodaya Samagam Inter School Folk Dance Competition held on July 26, 2023, by performing the traditional Gondhal dance from Maharashtra, securing the first position in the top three. This esteemed competition saw the participation of 23 schools, each showcasing a unique folk dance from various regions across the country.
A group of eight talented students from Queens’ College took part in the competition, showcasing their exceptional skills and dedication. The winners of the competition were Kanishka Gaikwad from VIII A, Kratika Parmar from VIII B, Avika Jaiswal from VII D, Maanvi Dubey from VII A, Lakshita Dubey from VIII C, Shubhi Jain from VII A, Anvi Dubey from VI A, and Aradhya Arya from VI C.
These remarkable students were trained and prepared by the accomplished dance teachers, Ms. Yamini Chari and Ms. Pooja Patwardhan. Their guidance and expertise played a crucial role in the students’ success at the competition.
