Wildlife Week Celebration, Zootopia was hosted by Forest Department

The recent Wildlife Week Celebration(1st October to 7 th October), Zootopia was hosted by Forest Department and witnessed an exceptional display of talents and the students from Queens’ College participated and clinched top honors in the art competition. The event aimed to raise awareness about wildlife conservation and allowed our students to showcase their artistic prowess while emphasizing the importance of protecting our natural heritage.
The winners of this competition are :-
1) Pallavi Rathore class IX bagged first position and Trisha Singh class IX bagged third position in the category of classes IX to XII in Drawing and Painting Competition.
2) Somya Jain class IX bagged III position in the category of classes IX to XII in Clay Modelling Competition.
3) Reet Patel class IV bagged first position in the category of classes I to IV. Tarang Kakani class VIII bagged first position in the category of classes V to VIII. Zainab Shihabi bagged second position in the category of classes IX to XII.
Students were guided by the Art and Craft teachers Mr. Abhishek Verma and Mr. Vishal Chand. Heartiest congratulations to all the winners, participants and the mentors.
Sahodaya Inter School E-Brochure Competition

The Inter School E-Brochure Designing Competition was organized by Queens’ College on 29th August 2023, under the aegis of Indore Sahodaya School complex, to provide a platform for students of grades IX – XII to encourage innovative thinking and digital competency among students. The competition aimed to provide a platform for students to showcase their creativity, design skills, and technological proficiency in developing visually appealing and informative e-brochures. The objective was to encourage students to utilize digital tools and enhance their graphic design abilities.
The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from 17 esteemed schools with 68 participants, each showcasing their creativity and innovation in designing e-brochures. The event showcased the talent and skills of young minds in the field of graphic design.
The competition had a distinguished panel of judges who evaluated the e-brochures based on their creativity, design elements, content, and overall presentation. The esteemed judging panel consisted of Dr. Sachin Patel,Professor of Computer Science and Engineering at the SAGA Institute and Ms. Preeti Vyas , PGT (Post Graduate Teacher) of Computer Science at Queens’ College.
After careful evaluation and deliberation, the judges selected the top three entries The winners of the Sahodaya Interschool E-brochure Designing Competition are as follows:
1. Holy Cross School.
2. Mount Index International School
3. San Marino Public School

17th Udbhav Utsav Dance and Music Festival

The students of Queens’ College , Indore participated in the International level Dance competition 17th Udbhav Utsav Dance and Music Festival held in Gwalior from 29 October to 2 November, in three different categories and bagged the second consolation prize in the Semi Classical Category
Participant countries included Taiwan (partner country), Sri Lanka, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan etc. 30 teams from nook and corner of India took part in the different events organised by Udbhav Utsav at the School and College/Private institution level. The competition was adjudged by renowned dignitaries in the field of dance and music.
Sahodaya Samagam Inter School Folk Dance Competition

Queens’ College outshone the competition at the Sahodaya Samagam Inter School Folk Dance Competition held on July 26, 2023, by performing the traditional Gondhal dance from Maharashtra, securing the first position in the top three. This esteemed competition saw the participation of 23 schools, each showcasing a unique folk dance from various regions across the country.
A group of eight talented students from Queens’ College took part in the competition, showcasing their exceptional skills and dedication. The winners of the competition were Kanishka Gaikwad from VIII A, Kratika Parmar from VIII B, Avika Jaiswal from VII D, Maanvi Dubey from VII A, Lakshita Dubey from VIII C, Shubhi Jain from VII A, Anvi Dubey from VI A, and Aradhya Arya from VI C.
Queens' College wins National Dance Contest

Congratulations to Shreya Patwari from Class IX for securing position amongst top three in ‘Aradhana’ National level Inter school Dance Competition organised by Heritage Foundation of Art and Culture.
Her Kathak performance depicting nine forms of Goddess was eye catching. Kudos to the budding talent and best wishes for the future endeavours.
Best Performance Award in Sahodaya Inter School Folk Dance Competition

Queens’ College lifts the Best Performance Award in Inter School Dance Competition under the Sahodaya Banner.
Stuti Gupta, our talented student from Class VII won the prize with her spirited performance of Garba and Dandia. Her grace and finesse aided the dancing Queen to bring home the cherished trophy.
Best Performance Award in Sahodaya Inter School Virtual Fancy Dress Competition

Heartiest Congratulations to Mohika Baheti of class II E for winning the Best Performance Award in the Sahodaya Inter School Virtual Fancy Dress Competition.
Mohika was dressed up as Mother Earth in a very creative costume. She emphatically urged everyone to support a clean and green world.She garnered high praises from everyone for her facial expressions and stimulating thoughts.
The Queens’ Family is incredibly proud of her.
Best Performance Award in Sahodaya Samagam Drawing Competition

Heartiest Congratulations to Vedanshi Sharma of class V D for winning the best performance award in the Sahodaya Samagam – Drawing Competition.
Vedanshi explored her world of imagination and expressed her creativity to design a beautiful art work on the theme- ” WATER HERO” which depicted her thoughts on the beauty of aquatic life and conserving water as a natural resources. Her exquisite illustration was appreciated by the judges.
Sahodaya Inter School Classical Dance Competition
9th September,2020
An online Inter-School Dance Competition was organised by Pragya Girls School under the aegis of Sahodaya Group for students of classes VI –VIII on September 9, 2020. The theme of the competition was “Indian Classical Dances’. Radika Behere of VIII standard represented Queens’ College in this event. The vivacious dancer performed pure form of Kathak with Todas, Tatar and Bhavv and was complimented for the choreography, rhythm, synchronisation and presentation.
